Budgets sometimes dictate our options. For this reason, LRS has developed a new automated process for the creation of new large print. This new process substantially reduces the large print cost. No longer does a person have to manually enhance each page. The result is a larger book than those used by regular students but the same lay flat, exact copy, go anywhere, durable LRS product.
Call and have this new Entry‐Level price turned on for your account. To prevent confusion, we don’t provide it until you have asked so we can show you how it works online.
Even after turning this new pricing on, you can still get the great traditional large print books you love from LRS with a more intensive enhancement process. This includes the large‐print in specific font sizes, bindings, and large print books sized closer to regular text.

ABOUT LRS.
LRS (Library Reproduction Service) has been producing large print school books and other large print educational materials for over 50 years. Our founder, John Scharlin, was the original developer of the split page (calendar) format that enabled a small closed‐book size to be coupled with truly large print of 18pt font and larger. This format also retains the original page layout, which is so important for visually‐impaired students in a mainstream classroom environment.
Experience‐ LRS has been involved in providing large print books and other educational materials since the 1960’s. We’ve worked with educators and other professionals across the United States and overseas, taking their input to provide the ideal tools for visually‐impaired and other print impaired students who are being taught in a mainstream environment.
Flexibility‐ We’ve striven to respond to the needs of visually‐impaired students and their educators, keeping up with the latest in printing and binding technology to ensure a durable high‐quality product at a fair price and in a timely manner. Our custom‐made products enable us to make large print books that meet the needs of each individual student.
